James Brings 20 Years of Executive Level Banking Experience
September 8, 2020, Waco, TX – Unicom is proud to announce and welcome Jason James as the company’s vCIO/vCISO. Jason will be responsible for providing Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer services to Unicom’s broad range of clients.
He joins the Unicom team from TexasBank located in Brownwood, TX. TexasBank is a leading community bank serving clients in 9 locations with $500 million in assets under management. While at TexasBank, James’ successful tenure included operating as the bank’s CTO/CISO.
Previous to TexasBank, James held positions as CIO/ISO for First State Bank Central Texas (now BankcorpSouth Bank) in Austin, TX, and CIO/ISO for Happy State Bank in Amarillo, TX. Jason holds a BBA in Business Management from West Texas A&M University.
