Unicom will provide best practice documents for server and workstation security hardening. The hardening will include Windows and VMware, if used. As part of this service, Unicom will implement the hardening policy.
As required or needed, Unicom can assume the role of Virtual CIO. While fulfilling such role Unicom will work with the credit union to complete necessary planning. These plans will include but not limited to:
- Operating Systems for servers and workstation end of support and planned upgrades
- All hardware end of support monitoring and a replacement plan
- 3-year Strategic Plan, to include budget numbers
- Develop options for a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan. Unicom will fully implement, test and document to meet requirements
Unicom personnel frequently meet with auditors and examiners to fulfill a void within the client’s management. Prior to the audits, Unicom offers a pre-audit preparation review service which follows a proprietary checklist that is a living document based upon regulatory changes and audit/exam experience.
